registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

nurse with operating room expertise in Kansas City, KS. This
contract position offers a chance to utilize specialized skills in
a reputable hospital setting with a schedule primarily during
daytime hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, mostly Tuesday through
Friday. Key Responsibilities: Provide preoperative and
intraoperative nursing care in the operating room. Support surgical
teams during procedures in ENT, neurosurgery, or surgical oncology
specialties. Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and
postoperative handoff. Adhere to strict protocols ensuring patient
safety and quality standards. Float across various OR specialties
as needed. Participate in on-call rotation for urgent cases.
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current registered nurse
license in Kansas or compact state license. Proficiency in at least
one specialty: ENT (e.g., trach/awake procedures, head/neck
reconstruction, ear surgeries), neurosurgery (burr holes,
craniotomy), or surgical oncology. Preference given to candidates
experienced across all three specialties. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required. Ability to complete a thorough orientation
including in-person and EPIC training. Nicotine-free as per
facility policy. Candidates must have previous RN OR experience;
