Today Mercury Broadband's rapidly expanding network is headquartered in Kansas City and provides Internet access to communities throughout five states across the Midwest.Position Summary: The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, developing and life-cycle managing all the company products and services across all customer segments for Mercury Broadband. This role conducts necessary market and customer research and partners with company technical/engineering leaders to create a product evolutionary roadmap, develop detailed product specifications for new products, manage the overall product development and market launch process, and establish pricing and promotions for the products to drive sales activity and customer adoption. Product Marketing Manager monitors market trends, customer usage dynamics, competitive products and emerging market needs, and manages the overall life cycle of the products from cradle-to-grave. Role also tracks product performance and critical KPI's to determine adjustments necessary (pricing, promotions, features, enhancements) to maximize product performance. Location: Kansas City, Missouri or Topeka, KansasPosition Type: Full-TimeCompensation: Competitive PayBenefits: Health, Vision, Basic Dental & Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Training Key Responsibilities:Create an overall macro-level product roadmap for the company that establishes a blueprint for how current product offerings will evolve or new products will be introduced leveraging advancements in the company's technology platformsDevelop business cases for new products and services driven by competitive advantage or opportunities to commercialize new technology capabilities across the company's network platforms.Develop detailed product specifications and requirements for all approved new products and enhancements Manage the cross-functional product development and market launch process for all approved new products and enhancements (change management)Manage the pricing strategy for all available products to maximize competitiveness and financial/margin performance and work closely with Sales to drive sales productivityTrain the Sales force on the products and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for questions. Provide sales support on proposals and large, complex opportunities which include the products.Manage the strategy for special offers, promotions and sales contests/incentives for the products with the Sales team.Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer (and Sales, Customer Satisfaction Team, and Chief Revenue Officer) to design optimum traditional and digital marketing/sales materials for the products.Manage the Alpha, Beta, Soft Launch and Hard Launch events for all new product launches and conduct After Action Reviews (AAR's) Skills and Requirements:Minimum 7-10 years of progressive product marketing/management experience including product development workExperience conducting market research and preparing detailed business cases for new product opportunities to assess the impact and financial projectionsExperience developing detailed product specifications and requirementsExperience with managing product pricing and promotionsExperience with Sales to support sales opportunities for new productsExperience with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Hootsuite and Salesforce PardotStrong communicator and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and analytic skillsProven ability to problem-solve, including metric-driven thinking Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or Engineering required.
