Job Description Job Description Hiring Injection Mold Down Stream Techs / Competitive pay 28 Job Description This role provides technical support for the installation, maintenance, and training of downstream production equipment. The position ensures smooth integration of new systems, assists with layout design, and empowers plant personnel to maintain equipment independently. Responsibilities Support installation and ongoing maintenance of downstream equipment. Assist with layout planning, design improvements, and provide necessary studies or data. Train maintenance teams and operators on new equipment and offer troubleshooting assistance. Ensure plant staff can maintain newly installed production lines without external support. Oversee all aspects of facility infrastructure equipment. Provide backup support for the Parts Analyst when needed. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with various packaging systems, including robotic palletizers, automated sorting systems, label applicators, carton erectors, and vision systems. Basic project management capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to train and support hourly employees. Proficiency in computer applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Ability to travel as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Packaging Technology preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar technical role. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials, with regular verbal communication and hearing. Occasional sitting is required.
