for a well-qualified Desktop PC Network Support Technician 2 to
join our qualified, diverse, and dynamic team of technical
professionals. This position is located in the Cincinnati, OH
area.Roles and responsibilities include:Provides technical support
for computers and associated networks. Installs, troubleshoots,
services, and repairs personal computers, related PC software,
telephones, cables, and connectors. Connects personal computers and
terminals to existing data networks. Performs basic PC
configurations.Instructs and assists users in the use of personal
computers and networks. Investigates information, network, and
communications needs of users.Completes paperwork and other tasks
needed to satisfy Security requirements. Follows all Security
regulations, guidelines, and processes regarding the installation,
maintenance, and retirement of PCs and PC-related hardware and
software. Works with Security to remediate classified data spillage
incidents.Coordinates with users, program staff, server
administrators, network engineers, and customer and IT
management.Establishes and maintains high levels of customer
satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to
established policies.Works with engineers to resolve support
issues, escalating to proper personnel where
appropriate.Participates in new installations, testing and special
projects as needed.Spends significant portions of the day away from
the desk supporting users and moving equipment.Exhibits good
communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with
customers.Lift 40 pounds.The selected candidate should thrive in a
fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly
diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all
levels.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma (or equivalent) and
2 years of experienceMust have IAM Level I certification (ex:
Security+ CE) or greaterMust have experience supporting large user
populations in a secure environmentMust have experience with
Microsoft products such as Windows 10/11, Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, VisioMust have an Active, DOD Secret Security Clearance
or higherPreferred Qualifications:Active Top Secret to TS/SCI
ClearanceProficiency in administration and troubleshooting of
desktop PCsDoD 8570 training and certifications and/or Security+
certificationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where
multiple projects are being developed and deployed
simultaneouslyMust be able to work well within a team environment
and able to adapt quickly to changeESCSOSalary Range: $41,700 USD
$69,500 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
