Job Description:

activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient
care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care
and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and
consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the
goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of
Mercy, the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional
and Business Ethics and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Performs
duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our

Premium Night Shift Sign On Bonus: Graduate Nurse $10,000
Experienced Nurse $13,000 Med/Surg RN 36 hours per week, Nights
Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028 The Medical A floor at
Mercy Jefferson is a fast-paced 30-bed unit that cares for patients
of all ages. Many of the patients are chronically ill and require
multidiscipline treatment plans and goals. As part of the health
care team, you will help educate patients on a wide variety of
topics ranging from procedural/surgical expectations to what
medications patients will be taking once discharged. Potential
health care workers who are compassionate, team-orientated,
hard-working, flexible, enjoy caring for people from all walks of
life, will find working on this unit very rewarding while expanding
their clinical knowledge base and enhancing their skills.
Qualifications: Education: Graduated from a school of nursing
(Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Is personally
responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license
within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing
duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing
requirements. Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification
through the American Heart Association or successful completion of
