Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available at an elementary school located in Lees Summit, MO,
focusing on grades 5th through 8th. This role requires a dedicated
professional with experience in Special Education, particularly
with a strong emphasis on Mathematics instruction. The contract is
for the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a
meaningful impact in the educational development of students with
diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
instruction tailored to students with disabilities in grades 5-8.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in
collaboration with staff and families. Utilize strategies and tools
to support mathematical learning and comprehension. Monitor student
progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure academic success.
Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that
encourages growth and independence. Collaborate with general
education teachers and support staff to meet student needs
effectively. Qualifications: Experience teaching Special Education
students, ideally within elementary and middle school settings.
Proficiency in delivering mathematics instruction to students with
diverse learning abilities. Strong communication and organizational
skills. Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
