The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of decision making in a technical environment, exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, and possess an understanding of designing, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless and wireline IP networks. Location: Kansas City, Missouri Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Pay Benefits: Health, Vision, Basic Dental & Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Training Key Responsibilities:A member of the team responsible for architecting and driving the tactical implementation and support of all network and telecommunications hardware, software, and related equipment deployed at our towers and POPs in an environment requiring 24x7x365 availabilityExperience in network monitoring and management, SLA management, and mapping technology solutions to business requirements Coordinate with vendors to provide team training on new productsBuild and design network topology between nodes, ensure service reliability, and overall customer experienceProvide deliverables on technical projects to meet deadlinesAssist in development of new products from technical aspect the network team by designing workflows and conducting testing in the lab before field implementationAssist in resolution to network related issuesHandle complex requests and coordinate between employees and departments to gather information and resolve issuesCustomer Centric attitude with a focus on ensuring high network availability Skills and Requirements:Strong understanding of TCP/IP Protocol Suite, RF and Microwave equipment, and routing protocolsExperience with Microwave and fiber backhaul networks, Wi-Fi, Cat5, and LTEExperience with microwave design softwareExperience with NMS platformsExperience with Cisco equipment and other routing and switching hardwareCustomer Centric attitude and professional in appearance Excellent communication, both written and oralStrong Understanding of networking principalsStrong Understanding of common household operating systems and peripheralsSelf-Motivated and professional in appearance Education and Experience Requirements: 5+ years' experience in Networking or IT field, with telecommunications experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, other relevant field, or equivalent industry experienceCCDA CDDP or equivalent certifications preferredThe ideal candidate will have background in multiple technical aspects including LTE, Microwave Backhaul, Fiber Backhaul, FTTH, and Wi-Fi network Operations Physical Demands:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
