Job Description:

Red River is seeking a Mobility Engineer to join our growing team! The Mobility Engineer provides effective network and wireless network design, deployment and troubleshooting services for Red River's growing customer base. The Mobility Engineer is responsible for providing engineering services for customers WLAN's remotely and onsite.
Primary Position Tasks:

• 
  
• 
  Perform wireless RF coverage surveys using Ekahau
  
  
• 
  Preparing WLAN equipment for deployment
  
  
• 
  Deploy network and wireless hardware and configurations
  
  
• 
  Support, troubleshoot, and install wireless and related technologies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain industry certifications as required
  
  
• 
  Other business duties as assigned
  
  
  Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    CWNA - Certified Wireless Network Associate
    
    
  • 
    2-3 years Ekahau RF survey experience
    
    
  • 
    A solid understanding of the milestones associated with completing a wireless deployment
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of various wireless architecture and hardware
    
    
  • 
    Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 protocols
    
    
    Knowledge and Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • Ability to working with a Team and Independently
      
      Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
      Required:
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Walking up to 4-5 miles per day when doing surveys
        
        
      • 
        Lift up to 20lb boxes
        
        
      • 
        Sitting for periods of 2 -3 hours at a time.
        
        
      • 
        Work on a ladder up to 15ft above ground
        
        
        This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
        Special Requirements:
        This candidate will operate remotely with up to 50% travel to customer and partner sites.
