Salary $70,000 - $85,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Heart of the Midwest

This growing food manufacturer needs a talented Manufacturing Engineer who will help the company become more environmentally friendly. As a traveling Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be working with the plants and focus on finding areas that can be improved to be more environmentally friendly. You'll coordinate the projects, keep track of needed data, and communicate with team members and management. You'll start projects and coordinate the resources, people, vendors, and activities needed for the project to be completed.

You'll identify potential improvements in areas such as sustainable packaging, renewable energy options, energy audits, waste assessments & recycling options, optimization of water usage, and opportunities for decreasing carbon emissions.

You'll need to be an excellent communicator as you'll be working with multiple levels of employees at different plants across the country. Knowledge of environmental policies, ISO 14001, various Environmental Management Softwares, and MS Office will all be helpful as you track the project details and make presentations keeping all parties informed.
