Today Mercury Broadband's rapidly expanding network is headquartered in Kansas City and provides Internet access to communities throughout five states across the Midwest.Position Summary: The Manager - Inside Sales position is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Mercury Broadband Inside Sales team for Residential and Business customers across all company markets. This position works closely with the Director of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer and Market General Managers to establish and meet/exceed manageable sales goals for the Inside Sales team. The Manager - Inside Sales will closely track all KPI's and metrics to evaluate day-to-day sales performance for the team and work to maximize results and hit established targets for all geographic markets. The Manager - Inside Sales will also work closely with the Marketing team and General Managers to provide insight, feedback and recommendations on marketing strategies, products, pricing, special offers, promotions and competitive concerns to maintain strong competitive presence in the marketplace and adjust as necessary. This position is also responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and employee development of the Inside Sales team as openings materialize and employee turnover or promotions occur.   • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Mercury Broadband Inside Sales team to optimize the sales results generated and meet or exceed established sales targets. Targets will be established for all company markets and the Manager must ensure that resources, focus and support are optimized to support both Inbound and Outbound calls for these markets in an equitable manner.
  • Work closely with the market-specific General Managers to process new sales orders and communicate effectively to make sure there is clarity on customer requirements, expectations, and the installation and activation process.
  • Provide leadership, counsel, mentoring, coaching and support to the Inside Sales Team as needed to develop and grow their professional abilities.
  • Work as a vocal leader to champion strategies and actions for Mercury Broadband customers within the local markets and position our company as the gold standard for the broadband services in the marketplace.
  • Report and track all metrics associated with the Inside Sales Team at Weekly and Monthly KPI meetings. Utilize effective data analytics from the Call Center, internal systems/CRM platform, PBX, and other platforms to constantly monitor team performance and productivity, then drive constant process and team improvement.
  • Follow-up on sales leads and customer opportunities that do not close and develop strategies that maximize both inbound and outbound sales activities and team resources for all markets.
  • Manage scheduling of Inside Sales representatives to ensure maximum productivity and coverage for all markets.
  • Drive constant quality and process improvements that continue to move the Inside Sales team forward and achieve excellence. Skills and Requirements:
    • Minimum 5-7 years of successful proven Inside Sales leadership experience, managing Inside Sales teams, and leading the day-to-day operations for an Inside Sales team.
    • Experience leading teams and managing large groups of employees
    • Track record of meeting or exceeding established sales goals
    • Strong sales skills and knowledge of best practices
    • Coaching, mentoring and employee development experience
    • Strong communicator and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and analytic skills
    • Proven ability to problem-solve, including metric-driven thinking
      • Education Requirements:
        • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications, general studies or equivalent experience required.
