Our company is a globally recognized Best Place to Work.The Manager, Scientific Insights provides professional, nutritional, and scientific information, including but not limited to driven insights, to support internal customers and our global teams on the ground with a specific emphasis on the EMEA region. Amongst other things this position is responsible - working in tight connection cross-functionally - at global and local level - for the creation of scientific documents and digital assets related to new products, base business and competitive products. This position is focused on global content and strategy development of content sharing in support of digital business initiatives. A secondary focus is to support Hill's EMEA and ensure that materials developed and knowledge gained are shared for global use where applicable. The position will lead Scientific Professional Insights globally and provide key support to specific regions when needed. -What you will do:External scientific professional insights:

  • Analyze and develop veterinary and clinical nutrition perspectives on key competitors' claims to address competitive pressure as support to be implemented action plan
  • Provide the most up-to-date scientific and clinical nutrition information in support of media crises and critical cases, including facilitating the required approval process.
  • Advise markets about relevant new scientific publications related to clinical nutrition in our key disease categories providing direction on impact to our business
  • Contribute in identifying veterinary professional trends and issues (including but not limited to nutrition) to influence further planning
  • Support the EMEA region
  • Own the process for responding in a timely fashion to scientific questions received through currents (or similar platforms) from the field or from the countries and related to clinical nutrition and specific diets.
  • Support development of assets in conjunction with EMEA PVA SME (e.g., ICS, POV, CER, publications) to support B(U)RMO, category development and sales driving activities for CDO field activation
  • Update global materials to support EMEA product launches to match specific commercial needs of the region.
  • Handle critical cases & crises working with PVA-M
  • Run KTL database with PVA-M
  • Share EMEA standard methodologies with global team
  • Hill's Global Learning Agile Lead
  • Provide global oversight to newly launched LMS - Develop guidelines for sharing content in all markets
  • Provide technical support to regional admins - Develop training plans for future improvements - Act as resource for LMS related questions - Coordinate w/ external & internal technical resources
  • Involvement w/ ongoing improvement of the LMS - Work w/ PO & external resources to prioritize upgrades & future development
  • Implement strategic priorities for short & long-term plan for LMS development & supporting global content - Develop communication materials to support launch & new content development to drive awareness globally - Develop scorecard & provide updates regarding analytic data acquired through google analytics & other tools to keep the business & local markets advised on progress - Collaborate in conjunction with the PO, Commercial Analytics, GIT, & outside vendors to integrate SFMC data into reporting capability
  • Internal insights, education and QSI
  • Provide clinical nutrition and competitive perspectives upon request and in conjunction with appropriate functions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in the review/creation of materials to be used in region specific claims/insights meetings
  • Handle webinar platform, use global LMS to coordinate webinar grid and highlight available content for local markets
  • Support professional and regional social media strategies & execution
  • Support h3 innovation projects and future backward innovation including Telehealth and digital future spaces such as Metaverse & AR educational tools
  • Supporting the Hill's digital platforms including (but not limited to) GEP, Hill's pro and Vetshop
  • Supporting B(U)RMO research initiatives
  • Knowledge maintenance
  • Assist in maintaining and updating knowledge, and product data asset repositories including but not limited to the global condition & sub-condition master for therapeutic & wellness products
  • Ensure internal partners (regional / local PVA) communication/awareness about knowledge management repositories updates
  • Reassess KTL database strategy & develop valuable plan to support business in local markets
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Align with all policies and standards -Required Qualifications:
    • DVM or equivalent
    • At least 4-6 years vet or academic practice, -with special interest and knowledge in small animal nutrition.
    • Proven experience with Online research, Microsoft Office, Google platform and mobile applications and ability to adapt to a changing digital environment
    • Ability to mentor veterinary professionals in use of digital and social media tools
    • Able to formulate well defined ideas based upon research and communicate them effectively in writing and public speaking
    • Technical & scientific writing & presentation experience
    • Critical thinking, questioning, assessment skills
    • Proficient in English (oral, grammar and spelling), proficiency in another major European language a plus -Preferred Qualifications:
