Job Description:
A financial services firm is searching for a person to fill
their position for a Remote Underwriting Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following
responsibilities:
Develop the underwriting expertise of Underwriters, Associate
Underwriters, and support staff
Provide team with case-specific underwriting expertise and
consultation
Analyze section operations and workflow
Required Skills:
Able to express ideas clearly and accurately in both written and
verbal communication
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
2 to 4 years of progressively responsible experience with emphasis
in underwriting
Demonstrated leadership skills
Must have a working knowledge of division operations; human
resource practices, procedures and requirements
Strong understanding of basic risk analysis and underwriting
philosophy
