the FTSE 250 Index.Responsibilities:You will lead a cross
functional team that includes all team members, team leaders, group
leaders, quality, maintenance, engineering, production planning and
continuous improvement. You will plan, direct, and coordinate all
aspects of the manufacturing process in accordance with company
objectives and operating budgets to satisfy safety, quality, cost,
and delivery requirements.Properly supports or participates in all
EH&S activities programs, initiatives, and functionsSupports
the LEAN Forward program in the site to support lean initiatives,
problem solving and cost reductionsDevelops and maintains an
effective organization through the selection, training, and
motivation of all personnelPromote Morgan Recognition programs such
as MORE, Safety APP recognition and Safety Scratch off card program
to raise the level of employee appreciation within the sitePromotes
employee engagement through support of SIM by leading and mentoring
employees with visual management tools and employee led
initiativesDirects the cross functional, customer-focused team in
the preparation and implementation of operating plans and
strategies consistent with business objectives/plansDevelops plans
to use the facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and
future manufacturing requirements including department budgets and
guidelines, plant layout and improvements, and capital expenditure
programsManages the production reporting system for the specified
area to ensure accurate information for inventory and manufacturing
cost controlsDevelops and maintains a positive relationship with
the customers, corporate support functions (sales, engineering,
program management, purchasing) employees, and departments that
support the manufacturing processProvides, implements, and
administers timely quality assurance and engineering control
functions to ensure product reliability and conformance to customer
and federal specifications in the most effective and economical
manner possibleManages the area with the appropriate communication
of goals, performance feedback, correction active, and rewards and
recognition to provide optimum employee relationsParticipate in
decisions relating to mechanical and electrical systems, selection
of materials and design of items to be fabricated and
installedQualifications:GED of High School Dipoloma3+ years of
experience in an industrial or manufacturing settingExperienced in
equipment management and facilitating maintenance activities and
scheduled shutdownsPossess superior organization, communications,
presentation skills, critical thinking, EQAbility to perform as a
Leader and Collaborator and the ability to communicate comfortably
at all levels of the organizationAdvanced MS Office, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project Management and good report writing and data
analysis skillsPreferred Qualifications:BS degree in engineering.
(ceramic, chemical, electrical, mechanical, textile, industrial, or
polymer & fibre)Experience operating in ERP systemsExperience
working within a high paced environment, previous
