If you're an analytical thinker passionate about enabling the next generation of nurses, we want to hear from you!The Nursing Education Research Manager will manage and execute all stages of the research study life cycle for continuous validity, efficacy, and improvement of nursing education products. This includes protocol development for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submission, leading all stages of the data management, collection, and analysis, and final dissemination of findings through internal and external dissemination efforts.The Nursing Education Research Manager will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates to assessment products and coordinate research activities with psychometricians and UX teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Nursing Education, pedagogy, analysis, and research. The person will be able to work collaboratively in a team-based approach to achieve goals and have a bias toward action. This candidate should be ready to dive in and understand the market and the importance of efficacy to our customers and then be prepared to work with the team to create a strategic plan and execute findings to show the data-driven effectiveness of using Lippincott products.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Design, implement, and manage applied research in nursing education+ Cultivate research practice partnerships with technology partners, faculty, administrators, and key stakeholders at partner schools+ Manage research study and IRB life cycle processes+ Lead all stages of the data management, analysis and collection processes+ Facilitate dissemination efforts through white papers, reports for marketing purposes, conference proceedings, and peer-reviewed manuscripts+ Consult with content teams that develop, maintain and edit assessment items and exams+ Review assessment items and exam materials as needed+ Develop and maintain the research agenda+ Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and engineers to refine research hypotheses, acquire data, interpret results, and develop optimization plans based on findings+ Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to hone our message with respect to efficacy+ Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activity, particularly competitive efficacy claims+ Develop partnerships, as appropriate, to investigate new research opportunities+ Leverage methodology to impact product design and development**Job Qualifications:****Education:** Doctoral degree in nursing (PhD or DNS preferred; EdD acceptable)**Required Experience:**+ 5+ years of experience teaching in academic nursing programs+ 5+ years' experience as a RN+ Demonstrated history of successful IRB submission for research studies+ Experience leveraging data to meet customer needs+ Experience interfacing with customers+ Experience negotiating contracts with partners and vendors+ Active RN licensure (unencumbered)**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**+ Data fluency+ Competence in statistical analysis+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills+ Ability to prioritize and manage complex tasks simultaneously+ Organization, analytical, and planning skills+ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills+ Attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines+ Persistence+ Professionalism and integrity+ Flexible and agile to changing environment**Travel:** approximately 10 - 15%, ability and willingness to travel to meet business goals and objectivesEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Wolters Kluwer U.
