The Administrator/Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management and clinical operation of the Hospice agency. Through management of policies and procedures, budgeting, and referral follow-up, the Administrator/DON is responsible for the effective and efficient use of all resources. Additionally, this role oversees the dynamic interdisciplinary teamto ensure compliance and excellent patient care. Key responsibilities involve budgetary, management, leading the activities of the nursing team, providing clinical direction, and ensuring compliant growth and profitability of the agency. This individual drives team work, leads by example, and has a focus on quality care.

This role will provide both operational and clinical oversight for our Rochester and Mankato hospice offices.

Educational Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State Board in which he/she practices.Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Position Requirements

Minimum of one year experience in providing medical, oncology, home health care, or hospice nursing preferred. (This may be higher by state specific regulation.) Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
