supportive community. Our St. Francis hospital is seeking an Intern
Radiology/Diagnostic Tech. The St. Francis Campus is fully
accredited by the joint Commission. We also have the following
notable accreditations and certifications: Advanced Primary Stroke
Center Certification Inpatient Rehab Stroke Certification Chest
Pain Accreditation, by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care
Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, by the American College of
Radiology (CoC) Accreditation Responsibilities The Diagnostic
Radiology Technologist Intern supports patient care by performing
quality radiology procedures and consistently maintains focus on
customer service and safety. The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
Intern work/ performance is over seen by the Diagnostic Radiology
Technologist. Enhances quality by participating in performance
improvement. Supports the Radiology department and reports to the
Radiology Diagnostic Supervisor. Qualifications *Must be attending
an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and be registry
eligible. *Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a
Radiologic Technologist. Registered by the ARRT within 1 yr of
graduation or employment. Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within
90 days of hire date. *Interpersonal and communication skills,
ability to learn to perform direct patient care, basic nursing
procedures. Ability to interpret and communicate data relevant to
patients' needs and responses to care.
