Job Description:
Registered Nurse PRTF123Pathway Family Services, LLC. provides
resources for youth and families through their Independent Living
Program, TRAIL (Teens Reaching Adult Independent Living),
Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, Qualified Residential
Treatment Program (QRTP), outpatient services and specialized
foster care services.Qualifications:Degree from an accredited
school of nursing with a current license to practice as a
Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas. Must be licensed and/or
certified in the field of specialty in the state of Kansas.At least
one year previous experience working with children with a mental
health diagnosis in a residential facility preferred.Must be at
least 21 years of age based on state requirement of being at least
3 years older than the oldest resident.Attendance and successful
completion of Safe Crisis Management training, provided by Agency,
is required. Previous experience with patient restraint

Family of Companies and other Nonprofits.As an LPN, you will be
responsible for providing patient care, assessment and treatment as
ordered for residents. Responds to the needs of the residents by
administering medications, triaging, and rendering first aid
treatment as needed, assessing patient needs, preparing and
maintaining records, charts, and reports and providing support to
the direct care staff. Adheres to all federal, state, and
accrediting agency rules and regulations as well as Agency Policies
and Procedures.Provides direct nursing care including physical care
and emotional support.Takes medication orders and supervises the
dispensing of medications, charting, and medical record keeping and
assessing medical health concerns.Participates in performing
nursing assessments to identify the strengths and nursing care
needs of patients/clients.Acts as a consultant with direct care
staff and doctors in assisting with injuries and
accidents.Participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating
nursing plans based on nursing assessment; participates in
nursingdiagnoses; implements nursing components of master treatment
plan.Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.Documents and
describes nursing care provided as well as observations and
interventions that contribute to the continuity of care.Implements
and maintains established policies, procedures, objectives, quality
assurance, safety, and environmental and infection control.
Interpret these to the physician, resident, family members, and
public, as appropriate.Provides age and culturally appropriate
care.Reports significant changes in the resident's condition to
appropriate members of the health care team.Administers and
supervises administration of medications and treatments safely,
effectively, therapeutically, and as ordered.Follows all applicable
regulations and standards in regard to program requirements and
assigned duties. Follows all accreditation standards and
governmental regulations in regard to psychiatric residential
treatment facilities. Reports observed compliance shortcomings and
issues to supervisor.Will be required to travel in order to attend
meetings, trainings, or conduct business off site. Must have a
valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards if
driving on agency business. Not required to transport
clients.Refrains from assuming any duty that is unrelated to and/or
interferes with the responsibilities of the position.Advocates,
promotes, and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in
all day-to-day interactions.Develops, promotes, and practices
