community. Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse.
We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care
skills in our Heart & Vascular Clinic.
The Registered Nurse performs a comprehensive assessment of patient
and family needs to deliver and coordinate services throughout the
continuum of care. The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care as
defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and the policies and
procedures of SFHC. The Registered Nurse works under the
supervision of the physician and the Clinic manager or designee.
Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery of patient care
through the nursing process of assessment.
Clearly communicates, both orally and in writing, to foster staff
and patient understanding of treatment plan. Sensitive to the
patient's needs such as physical, spiritual, and emotional and
evaluates response to the delivery of care. Supports and promotes
organizational programs to ensure quality patient care inclusive of
all HIPPA, OSHA and JCAHO quidelines. Effectively manages
department/patient activities in a time efficient manner to ensure
the delivery of care is well-organized and proficient.
Provide quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers,
and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to
create a professional and respectful environment. Qualifications
2-Year Degree, 4-Year Degree preferred. Current Kansas RN Licensure
or GN status. BLS current.
At least one year in similar health care setting. Basic computer
skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
