DescriptionProgram Coordinator & Faculty, School of Nursing
Rasmussen University
The Program Coordinator and Faculty School of Nursing (SON) is
responsible for promoting and supporting the vision and mission of
the nursing program at the University while teaching courses in a
variety of modalities Teaching duties may include being assigned up
to 3 work unites per quarter. Program Coordinators duties will
focus on the following areas:
* Programmatic & Academic leadership & ownership
* Teaching Effectiveness
* Student Outreach and Support
Responsibilities:
Program Coordinators will teach up to 3 work units (approximately
15-20 contact hours) per academic quarter. Additional duties
include:
Programmatic & Academic Leadership
Programmatic & Academic Ownership
Reporting Relationships:
The Program Coordinator, SON reports to either the Area Dean of
Nursing, Dean of Nursing, or Associate Dean of Nursing based upon
the designated locations staffing model.
Requirements:
PN program requires a Bachelor's in Nursing. For Associate's,
Bachelor's, or Graduate Degree Nursing Programs a Master's in
Nursing is required, Doctorate Preferred Teaching experience
preferred (Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field of
study)
