Clinical Educator Registered Nurse RN, Clinical Professional
Education ICU Telemetry, Part Time, Days Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm
(Part Time Position)Location: University Kansas Health System - St.
Francis (Main Campus) -The -Clinical Educator -orients new staff to
the position and department. Plans and conducts various education
activities for the staff. - Effectively communicates both in
writing and verbally. Reports to the Director or designee.

Responsibilities
Clinical Educator -duties include: Plans and conducts a variety of
orientation for staff to meet competency assessment requirements to
conform to departmental objectives and accreditation standards.

Oversees and coordinates staff education to -provide opportunities
for staff development.
Provides leadership to staff to ensure teamwork. -Promotes teamwork
with physicians and personnel of other departments. -Perform other
duties as assigned -Accountable for self and self-actions: - - -
-Engages in self-evaluation of practice and takes action to improve
knowledge and skills. - - - - - -Promotes consensus building and
applies techniques of conflict resolution and conduct improvement.

Qualifications
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's in Education or
Nursing -preferred -Current Kansas RN licensure -Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification -Basic computer skills. -Familiar with
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and EPIC software;
preferred. -Three years' experience as a staff nurse -Prior
teaching experience -preferred
