Job Description:
Midland Care is hiring for a RN to join our On Call Hospice
Team.
The purpose of this position is to provide and coordinate nursing
care in compliance with organization policies and procedures and to
assess patient care needs and take appropriate action.
Pay Rate: $33/hr. (based on experience)
Typical Hours of Employment: 7 on 7 off: 5pm Monday to Monday
8am.
Qualifications
Required: Current unrestricted State of Kansas License to practice
as a Registered Nurse. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver's
License, in force automobile insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle
Record (MVR) that meets the organization's insurability standard as
defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation
is required. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, standards of
nursing practice, scope of practice and relevant statutes and
regulations. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, handle
multiple projects, pay strong attention to detail and accuracy and
work under pressure in a cooperative work environment. Must be
self-directed, motivated and flexible. Preferred: Home Health or
Hospice experience.
