We partner with our Nurses at Centerpoint Medical Center!Job Summary And QualificationsThis is a day shift position with call requirements that fluctuate based on staffing. Currently we are averaging 3 call shifts a month. We have self scheduling and offer 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director, the PACU RN coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards. The Registered Nurse in this department provides care for the pediatric patient 16 and under , young adult patients age 17-39, adult patients age 40-64, and geriatric patients age 65 and older.What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Qualified applicants must have at least 1 year of recent RN ICU or PACU experienceCenterpoint Medical Center is a 285+ bed hospital featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
