OverviewSt. Mary's Medical Center seeks a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed team in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care during cardiac procedures and strive to enhance patient outcomes. • Many other amazing benefitsResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
  • Prepare and educate patients for cardiac catheterization and other specialized procedures. Monitor vital signs and procedural outcomes to deliver optimal care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and technologists to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintain sterility and proper equipment functioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diligently document care plans, procedural outcomes, and patient progress in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Act swiftly in emergency situations, utilizing ACLS protocols to manage potential cardiac complications during procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, technicians, and other nursing staff, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Counsel patients and families about procedural details, post-procedure care, potential risks, and lifestyle modifications for better cardiac health.QualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
    • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
    • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
    • Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
    • One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
