Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience
License: Must have Missouri License Certifications: PALS, AHA BLS,
AHA ACLS Must-Have: Covid vaccine and Flu vaccine are required
Description: Position is for a Respiratory Therapist in a NICU
setting. The clinician will work nights with a patient ratio of
1:4. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend work may be
required. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility
needs. There is a possibility to float to a location in Kansas.
Local travelers will be considered at the same rate. Those
contracted may start with a Kansas License pending, with
documentation of application required. Covid vaccines and flu
vaccines are required, with no exemptions. Open to some Med/Surg
candidates as well. This is a Magnet recognized, teaching facility
with Level 1 Trauma and Level IV NICU capabilities. Scrub colors
can be any kid-friendly color or pattern; RRTs can wear any color.
Charting is done using Cerner. This is a smoke-free facility, and
most travelers will float between facilities. Medication and dosage
testing will be conducted during the first week; a pass rate of
100% is required. Three attempts will be given to pass the
test.
