Job Description Core Medical-Perm is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a nursing job in Topeka, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Staff ICU Charge RN /nUp to $20,000 Sign on Bonus /n /n /nPosition Summary: /n /n/t - The Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager and is responsible for coordination of safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations./n/t - The RN assesses patient/family needs, develops and prioritizes patient goals, evaluates care delivery, and continually revised the plan of care to meet the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family./n/t - The RN Delegates care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes./n/t - The RN adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act./n /nQualifications:/n/n /n/t - Current Kansas RN Licensure./n/t - Current BLS certification upon hire./n/t - ICU experience HIGHLY PREFERRED/n/t - Will Consider STRONG PCU/Tele and Cardiac RNs /n/t - Telemetry, ICU and PCU need ACLS completed within the first year of employment/n/t - 2-Year Degree/n/t - ACLS must be completed within the first year of employment/n/t - Specific Certifications are required within one year of hir/n /n /nWe are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this permanent position.
