Job Description:
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a
Remote Rheumatologist at Haskell Indian Health Center, Lawrence, KS
. This contract position offers: Remote, Part time up to 20 hours a
month, 1 day on site every 3 months 8-10 patients a day for full
day telehealth, 4-5 patients a day half day telehealth Must be
located within 150 miles of Lawrence, KS Focus on treating
patients, not running a business No insurance or bad debt hassles
Job Description: Interviews and examines patients, reviews past
medical history and performs diagnostic tests Conducts outpatient
clinics visits and consultations, observing patient's underlying
disease and treatment plans Refers patients to appropriate
contracted medical facilities, providing clinical infomration for
care and diagnostic procedures Participates in teaching activites
for clinical staff Performs procedures when indicated, such as
joint injections Serves as a consultant to the Service Units
medical staff in providing professional expertise Job Requirements:
MD or DO Clinical practice experience as a Rheumatologist Any
