(PTA) - Home Health Schedule : Full-time (Weekends Availability
Needed) Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) Lawrence, Kansas Position
Overview Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) is seeking a
compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to
join our Home Health team. This position provides high-quality
rehabilitative services to patients in their homes under the
direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
The PTA plays a vital role in helping patients regain mobility,
increase independence, and improve overall functional outcomes. If

apply. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide physical therapy
services in accordance with the plan of care established by the
supervising Physical Therapist. Administer therapeutic exercises,
gait training, balance training, transfer training, and other
skilled interventions. Observe, document, and report patient
responses to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the
supervising PT. Accurately complete required documentation in the
electronic medical record in accordance with agency policy and
Medicare guidelines. Participate in case conferences and
interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate. Educate patients
and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
Maintain compliance with agency policies, HIPAA regulations,
infection control standards, and all federal and state home health
regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and
ongoing professional development. QualificationsRequired Graduate
of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current,
active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas.
Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license, reliable
transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. Ability to
travel within the assigned service area. Strong clinical,
organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Previous Home
Health experience. Experience with electronic medical records
(EMR). Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home
Health. Work Environment Field-based position requiring travel to
patient homes within the VNA service area. Flexible scheduling
based on patient needs. Exposure to varying home environments.
