This individual performs a variety of non technical functions to assist the staff in MRI including MRI technologists, nurses, and anesthesia personnel. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources. /n/nResponsibilities:/n - The primary role of the MRI safety aide is that of ?gatekeeper?, enforcing compliance of MRI safety policies and procedures including ferro free dress attire and assisting with written, verbal, and ferromagnetic screening. - The MRI safety aide helps prepare patients for MRI exams. - The MRI safety aide assists the technologist with the safe transfer of MR patients. - The MR safety aide assists in scanning employees/visitors screening forms into Image Now. - The MRI safety aide assists with timely turnover of the MRI room. /n/nQualifications:/n - HS diploma or equivalent and Jobs requiring direct patient care, customer service, industrial safety. - BLS certification Required 30 Days /n/nBenefits at Children's Mercy:/n The benefits plans at Children’s Mercy are one of many reasons we are recognized as one of the best places to work in Kansas City.
