Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of travel experience required Previous experience in pediatrics preferred Experience in behavioral/psychiatric and med-surg nursing required License: Must have both a state license and a compact license Certifications: PALS and BLS required Must-Have: RNs must possess both Missouri and Kansas state licenses or a compact license Travelers will float between facilities as needed Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in behavioral health. Candidates should be open to working either 3x12 or 4x12 shifts. Med-surg experience will be required. Patient ratios are typically 1:3 or 1:4. Previous charge experience is preferred. Only AHA BLS and ACLS certifications will be accepted. A medication/dosage test will be administered during the first week, with a passing score required. Three attempts will be allowed to pass the test. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment.
