Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 15, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech for a day-shift position requiring at least 2 years of IR scrub experience and an active ARRT (Radiography) license with Kansas state licensure. Details - Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department operating 4 rooms - Caseload focuses on neuro and light body cases, averaging 7-8 light neuro cases and 2 IR cases per day (e.g., drains, lines, GT tubes) - Equipment includes Siemens Systems: Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane only; no biplane functionality) - Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday - No weekend requirements - Late call required from 1700–2100, potentially as frequently as once per week depending on rotation and staffing needs - May be required to float to a sister IR unit Requirements - Active ARRT (Radiography) certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration - Active Kansas state licensure through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts required and must be in hand at time of consideration - Minimum 2 years of IR experience with scrub experience required - 3 years of IR experience preferred, ideally in a large hospital setting - Peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred - New graduates are not eligible for this position - Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information - Team-oriented, collaborative work environment with a generally slower pace - Orientation is held every Monday and Tuesday, with an additional nursing orientation component held Wednesday through Friday on a bi-weekly schedule - This is a nicotine-free facility - Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates within 60 miles of the Great Bend campus location may be subject to a radius restriction American Traveler Job ID P-679950.
