Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Saint Joseph, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Stepdown RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required Must-Have: 1 Year Experience Preferred Charting System Experience: Epic preferred Description: Stepdown RN needed for a dynamic healthcare setting. The shift is 3x12 Days from 07:00 to 19:00. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted. Pending licenses are acceptable, but must be in hand before starting. The facility supports all inpatient units with staffing. Candidate must have the ability to manage various patient demographics including adults and geriatrics. Responsibilities include post angiogram and post MI care, as well as pre and post-operative management for various surgical procedures. Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia management is essential. Skills in IV management, phlebotomy, and blood product administration are also required. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are necessary for optimal patient care. The position may require coverage for weekends as needed. Documentation will be completed using Epic charting system. Candidates must adhere to strict safety and isolation precautions when required. Wound care and management, as well as tracheostomy care, will be part of the job responsibilities. We are looking for dedicated and skilled RNs who are eager to provide high-quality patient care.
