working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Kansas
City, Missouri, 64154! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

required License: Current nursing license required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred
Description: AUTO OFFER: PCU RN ratios: 1:5 Years of experience
required: 2 years experience required. First-timers accepted.
Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit.
Weekend requirements: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.
Combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. Skills required
include work in MS/Tele, telemetry, cardiac telemetry, ER holding,
neuro stepdown, and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown. Must demonstrate
proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
Responsibilities include interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and working with rapid response
teams. Experience in cardiovascular procedures, including
post-cardiac interventions and management of insulin protocols, is
required. Gastrointestinal skills such as feeding tube care and
management are necessary. Renal experience, including
pre/post-hemodialysis management, is required. Experience in IV
therapy, including blood product administration and central line
management, is essential. Knowledge of medications including
heparin protocols and management of cardiac drips is required.
Neurological experience with CVAs and orthopedic care, including
peripheral nerve block catheters, is preferred. Respiratory skills
including management of chest tubes and non-invasive airway
management are necessary. Professional skills in isolation
precautions, wound care, and wound VAC management are essential.
Regular floating may be required between departments and units as
needed. Candidates must demonstrate availability for block
scheduling. The maximum request time off allowed is 7 days.
References must be provided from supervisors or charge RNs who have
worked with the candidate in the past year. Drug screening will be
conducted, and any diluted or positive results may result in
cancellation of assignment. Lab tests must be completed within
48-72 hours of signing. Pre-start modules and training may be
required prior to the start of the assignment. Completion of
infusion pump and glucometer training is necessary prior to the
