Overview:As a Manager, HRBP support you will be responsible for the oversight of the HRBP support team, including the execution and coordination across functions. In this role, you will ensure all employees meet specific I9, Background, and other hiring standards and requirements. This position will lead a comprehensive audit process to further promote integrity of our hiring and offboarding process. You will ensure the lifecycle of the employee is in compliance with policies, laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and self-regulatory organization rules.This position will be responsible for managing the entire offboarding process, and all related activities to ensure we are meeting appropriate standards, timelines, and compliance with Federal, State, and local law.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight of the define group to support the business and HR Business Partners as it pertains to all elements of the employee life cycle, starting with new hire standards, through to off boarding processes, are in compliance with internal guidelines, as well as Federal, State, and local law.
  • Oversee weekly, monthly, and all requested audits pertaining to pre-hire standards for new hires, including background, I9, and drug testing results, if required.
  • Ensure team is monitoring any decisional background checks, and as necessary coordinating the Pre-Adverse Action Process.
  • Work with Operations, and any other pertinent departments to ensure they are following audit controls and acting upon any anomalies as deemed necessary by the HRBP Support Team.
  • Ability to identify and assist in driving efficiency related improvements in conjunction with appropriate areas of the HR Knowledge Center and other departments as needed for continual process improvement.
  • Identifying consistent issues in the documentation and termination process that place unemployment claims performance at risk. Begin the escalation process to the Sr. Manager of HRBP Support as well as the appropriate HR Business Partners.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or equivalent combination of experience
    • 5+ years of proven management experience in an HR-related field with extensive knowledge including, compliance functions, background check audits, pre-adverse action, as well as managing a team designated to same or similar functions preferred.
    • Ability to make decisions surrounding decisional background that mitigate risk and to determine and review background checks against statements of work (SOW) to ensure standards are met.
    • Experience with the unemployment insurance process on a multi-state level. Working knowledge of how to impact the levers that drive unemployment liability.
    • Solid understanding of the termination process, documentation requirements, and expertise within local, state and federal laws.
    • Excellent analytical skills, including high-level knowledge of Excel with a mind geared towards maximizing efficiencies, and process improvements.
    • Ability to coach, develop and mentor a high performing remote team.
    • Strong written and communication skills
