workplace.**What You'll Be Doing:**As Database Developer, your main
responsibility is to build and maintain SQL code that supports all
clinical and operational staff in their reporting needs, data
structures, and system build/customization. This role involves
working with large medical data sets (i.e. medical claims,
eligibility data) as well as data derived from our internal client
relationship management software (CRM). The Database Developer
maintains strong skills in documenting requirements and an in-depth
working knowledge of data models and how they interact .**Essential
Duties and Responsibilities**+ Develop and maintain Tables, Stored
Procedures, Views and Functions+ Write SQL queries, views or stored
procedures to extract data from SQL Servers in a consistent and
efficient manner that follows industry best practices+ Interpret
existing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to reverse
engineer existing code+ Make recommendations for improvements in
reporting tools, techniques and processes+ Participate in efforts
to analyze, design and migrate data as needed+ Code, optimize, and
debug database queries and store procedures in MS SQL Server+
Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of data models
and how they interact+ Create and maintain SSIS ETL packages for
data transformation, cleansing, and transfer; migrating them
through environments for testing+ Maintain the EDI application,
including ETL design, development, testing, and deployment
activities effectively and efficiently while maintaining existing
ETL code and developing new code using SSIS+ Become an expert on
the companies many varied data sets and where they are derived
from.+ Create and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards+ Create
custom SSIS tasks using C#+ Perform custom Dynamics tasks using
JavaScript**Education and Experience**Required:+ Bachelor's degree
with significant coursework in computer science or related field
strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and
experience+ High level T-SQL abilities, including knowledge of
execution plans and best indexing strategies+ High level SSIS and
SSRS abilities+ 3+ years of experience working with healthcare
data, preferably for a health plan, consulting firm, or a software
vendor that offers data solutions to health plans+ Experience
working with large medical claims and related data sets (834, 835,
837)+ Knowledge of Data Warehousing, relational database concepts
and dimensional modeling principlesPreferred:+ Experience with
SSAS+ Experience with MS Dynamics+ Experience with Azure+
Experience with analysis services+ Experience with Power
BI**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**+ Ability to QA and troubleshoot
data issues+ Desire to continually learn and explore new database
technologies+ Ability to understand problems from a broad
perspective and gauge the potential impact of multiple solutions+

Requirements:**Currently, Evolent employees work remotely
temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees
have the following technical capability at their home: High speed
internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center
employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet
router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change
with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.Evolent

position is $90000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the
skill set required for the position and commensurate with
