Job Description Job Description POSITION: Production Associate (Days) REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor DIVISION: Warehouse- Production FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt / Hourly COMPANY OVERVIEW: C&C Produce has proudly served the Midwest since 1992 as the region’s largest produce distributor. Our North Kansas City location houses the Midwest's largest produce warehouse, where we are committed to providing the highest quality, best-valued produce with exceptional service. POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our fast-paced team. This role is responsible for picking and packing produce orders, assisting with product receiving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. SCHEDULE: 1st Shift: Rotating schedules, 5:00 am - Finish, and then rotate to 7:00am - Finish. *Schedules require availability for weekends and holidays. COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate: $15.00 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Pick and pack produce orders efficiently and accurately Work on the production line repackaging and wrapping products. Placing labels and making boxes for shipments Inspection of produce to ensure quality of products. Maintain a clean and safe work area following company sanitation standards Support the team to meet daily production goals Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in warehouse or production environments preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) Capable of working independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to stand or walk for extended periods Comfortable working in cold storage and variable weather conditions Flexibility to work Overtime as needed.
