Overview Position: Nuclear Med Tech Schedule: FT Days Location:
University Kansas Health System - St. Francis The Nuclear Medicine
Technologist I Mobile supports patient care by performing quality
radiology procedures to client facilities and consistently
maintains focus on customer service and safety. Enhances quality by
participating in performance improvement. Supports the Radiology
department and reports to the Radiology Manager. Accountant Duties
and Responsibilities Performs diagnostic imaging to support quality
patient care. Demonstrates proper communication skills to ensure
positive outcomes. Supports organization priorities to maintain
compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Provide
quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and
other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to create a
professional and respectful environment. Demonstrates
problem-solving skills to support positive outcomes. Participates
in professional development for the advancement of Radiology
Services. Maintains vehicle and facilities in a responsible manner
to ensure safety and promote a professional appearance. What We

St. Francis Campus () Responsibilities 4-Year Degree. Degree should
be in a physical or life science. May substitute degree for
graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic
Technologist. Must be registered by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) within 1
year of eligibility. Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90
days of hire date. Valid Class B driver's license is required
within 60 days of hire. Driving record must not reveal any DUI's,
excessive moving violations or accidents within the past 2 yrs. 3
years prior experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Experience must include training in nuclear medicine, radiation
safety and I.V. injections stipulated by the Kansas Radioactive
Materials license. Preference will be given to prior work
experience in a comparable health care setting. Interpersonal and
communication skills, ability to learn to perform direct patient
care, basic nursing procedures. Ability to interpret and
communicate data relevant to patients' needs and responses to care.
Strong ability to grasp complex atomic principles and physics.
