Campus (kutopeka.com) ResponsibilitiesAccurately collecting and
inputting patient information into clinical systems to ensure
accurate billing, optimal financial reimbursement and complete
medical record attainment. Providing responsive, high quality
customer service to ensure patient and employee satisfaction.
Analysis of patient financial needs at point of service. Providing
intake and output of the patient access flow process including
communication and coordination with other departments and health
care providers. QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent.
Certified Healthcare Access Associate certification, preferred. One
year experience in office setting and customer service. Prior
experience in hospital or physician clinic registration and/or
scheduling in an ancillary department preferred. Experience in
health care industry, such as insurance eligibility/verification,
information technology and/or business office, desired. Ability to
type at least 40 wpm, along with proficient computer skills.
Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with patients and their
families, physician offices, nursing personnel and co-workers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to
multi-task and coordinate more than one event at a time.
Professionalism required. Knowledge of medical terminology and
healthcare benefit plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and other
third party payers.
