outcomes. Providing strategy, planning, and research to help
identify opportunities, prototype new offerings, and improve
program performance. Enrolling students by building compelling
marketing campaigns, improving recruitment, and opening new
channels to reach qualified learners. Advising and supporting
partners to rapidly expand non-degree offerings, including short
courses, boot camps, and other forms of experiential, team-based
learnings. Support and coaching learners to improve recruitment,
retention, satisfaction, and graduation rates.
**Important:** Pearson is currently holding the Pearson Online
Learning Services business under strategic review to assess the
optimal long-term ownership structure.
**Summary:**
The Student Records Evaluator is responsible for the assessment of
student academic records and other evidence of prior learning to
ensure a comprehensive evaluation of credit is applied toward a
program's degree requirements. Another significant function is
providing support to internal stakeholders and academic partners.
The expectation of this position is to perform all tasks with the
highest levels of integrity, quality, and productivity.
**Responsibilities:**
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited
to, the following:
+ Evaluate academic transcripts and prior learning and accurately
document application to degree requirements.
+ Data entry of external coursework and prior learning.
+ Interpret and apply current catalog policy, procedures, and
standards regarding transfer credit and prior learning
assessment.
+ Utilize various resources and reference materials (e.g., college
catalogs and course descriptions) to evaluate student academic
records.
+ Ensure accurate and complete data integrity through quality
assurance tasks.
+ Adhere to and exceed service level agreements such as turnaround
time.
+ Maintain professional relationships cross-functionally to explain
academic policies and answer questions.
+ Assist with maintaining and updating standard operating
procedures (SOP) documents as needed.
+ Ability to work with discretion and complete confidentiality as
this position involves constant contact with sensitive personal
records.
+ Actively engage in and contribute to a culture of continuous
process improvement.
+ Contribute daily to a collaborative, positive and supportive work
environment.
+ Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet
departmental needs. This may include working more than 40 hours a
week.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
+ At least two years of experience in a student records, registrar,
or student services office or related experience within higher
education.
+ Experience with assessment of transfer credit, course
equivalencies, accreditation, or grading systems is preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
+ Exceptional analytical acumen, organization, time management, and
research skills.
+ Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
+ Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
and listening ability.
+ Highly proficient with office automation tools (MS Office) and
navigating on the internet.
+ Experience working within customer relationship management (CRM)
software and student information system (SIS).
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
+ This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors
including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and
specific location. As required by the Colorado and New York City
laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $23.00-25.00 USD per
hour. This position is not bonus eligible, and information on
