NOW HIRING FOR ABusiness Architect
The Business Architect plays a key role for collecting and confirming enterprise businessand solution capability requirements to support FHLBank's strategic goals and objective.This includes (1) maintaining a general understanding of business needs (current andfuture) and processes in order to provide options and recommendations on how newinitiatives may be met and integrated across the enterprise; (2) collaborating directly withbusiness partners and subject matter experts to analyze and improve businessperformance and efficiency by offering solution ideas for processes through the creationof new software, automation of existing software or other forms of process improvement;and (3) collaborating with business sponsors to assess, document and communicate thebenefits, outcomes and risks of implementing new functionality or process automation.
What qualifications are needed?

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years of experience as a business architect, enterprise business analyst orsolution architecture role or related professional experience.
Ability to influence and establish strong working relationships with business and technologypartners up to executive management.
Ability to understand and methodically analyze business challenges, assess implications ofsolutions, and balance risk in building recommendations.
Experience in building business capability models and roadmaps.
Experience in enterprise requirements elicitation.
Demonstrates strong business process design.
Experience in the banking and financial industry is preferred.
Experience working within structured SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Ability to construct detailed business process maps.
Strong customer relationship management and diplomatic skills.
Must be able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment. -
