Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Architect & Modeler on behalf of our Financial Services client. This individual will be responsible for supporting data management engagements. S/he will contribute to technical and system architectural data modeling and support ELT implementation as required.

Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, supporting and creating the architecture models
Support design and development activities of the overall architecture and all aspects of the Data Platform components (Integration Services, Data Architecture)
Responsible for designing all cross-framework services (security, business rules handling, etc.).
Responsible for defining appropriate unit, system, performance and user acceptance test strategies and standards
Responsible for leading the effort to coordinate work with critical path project resources
Support activities with respect to data integration & preparation

Education and Experience
Proven experience with data modeling and source code controls
10+ years' experience in deploying and managing enterprise information delivery initiatives within distributed environment(s)
Strong Database architectural and Data Warehousing experience across multiple technologies, including SQL-Based databases (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft, Oracle, RedShift)
Preferred experience with Snowflake and AWS
Experience with Data Integration technologies and methodologies
Experience with Cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS
Expert level knowledge of data model design, development, maintenance, and support
Ability to work with data warehouse users, IT Business Analysts and all levels of the organization including senior leadership
Gather requirements, apply strong analysis and design skills to build system specifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication
Provide proper technical documentation to satisfy all corporate guidelines
Responsible for understanding and complying with laws and regulations that are applicable to the job function
Responsible for understanding and complying with company policies and procedures that are applicable to the job function
