  • Observes and communicates the patient's needs to the Registered Nurse responsible for the patient's care
  • Intervenes to protect the patient and to minimize the risk of injury by reorienting the patient, talking to the patient or calling for assistance.
  • Stays near or close to the patient's bedside as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Provides quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently responds to requests and needs with customer focus.
  • Clearly and respectfully communicates relevant information to all customers.
  • Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a friendly manner.
  • Running errands as needed for the unit.
  • Other duties as assigned -
    QualificationsExperience -
    • Prior work experience in a comparable setting preferred
    • Enrolled in Nursing Assistant or Practical Nursing Program preferred Education/Certification -
      • High School/GED
      • BLS Certification required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
        • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with patients, families and coworkers and to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity necessary to elicit patient's cooperation and to allay apprehensions What We Offer:
