With over 150 SAP professionals, we are one of North America's largest SAP hubs offering you the opportunity to drive excellence and build a culture of innovation.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Develop applications using existing and emerging technology platformsDesign and code application programs; create test transaction and run testsConduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systemsReview, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale systemEnsure the operating efficiency of existing application systemsMaintain records for the documentation of systems development and revisionsDevelopment Standards for SAP Custom Code to be used in design and developmentDevelop Code in ABAP, ABAP OO, Workflow, SQL, IDOC, BAPI, HR Forms and SmartFormsWell versed with defining authorization rolesCreate detailed technical design documentation, code review, test process on standard and custom objectsSupport ABAP code base in SAP ECC and S4Proactively manages environment and help ensure unplanned outages are reduced/or eliminated by helping provide root cause for issuesRotational On Call support will be required for this positionPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience5+ years' of experience of ABAP Development within SAP HCM2+ years of experience in unit testing, quality analysis and thorough knowledge of integration testingExperience in requirements analysis and design of technical solutions ranging in scope and size including experience with documenting the technical design of SAP Custom CodeCompetent at creating development effort estimates using inputs from Functional team and then managing the RICEFWAbility to adjust to changing priorities; managing and communicating interdepartmental and management expectationsExperience working on implementations with a Mexico component is an assetBilingual in English and Spanish is an assetWHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER:Flexible and competitive benefits packageEmployer Funded Retirement PlanEmployee Share Purchase PlanPerformance Incentive ProgramAnnual Fitness SubsidyPart-time Studies ProgramADDITIONAL INFORMATION:As an employer with North American presence, the possibility does exist that the location of your position may be changed based on organizational requirements.Drug Test Elements:CPKC is committed to the safety and health of its employees and the general public.
