Schedule:Full time - 36 hours/week or greaterShift:First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America)Weekly Work Schedule:M-F 7:30 to 4:00Job InformationExemption Status: Non-ExemptA Brief OverviewAdministers physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to patients suffering from injuries or disease affecting neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory, respiratory, and cardiac systems with the purpose of restoring function, relieving pain, and providing education to patients/family/staff within the scope of practice.Education QualificationsAssociate's Degree Physical Therapy Assistant accredited program. RequiredExperience QualificationsExperience providing healthcare. PreferredSkills and AbilitiesDemonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for age-specific care as determined by each specific department.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret graphs.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
