Section 508 Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Section 508 Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of Federal agency webpage content, systems, and software applications for Section 508 compliance
Report compliance assessment findings and propose solutions for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Section 508 standards into projects

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing Federal agency webpage content for Section 508 compliance
Current DHS Trusted Tester V5 Certification
Strong understanding of Section 508 guidelines and related accessibility standards
Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to web accessibility
