This position provides technical services as it relates to nutritional counseling and Hill's product support. This position reinforces the appropriate usage, awareness, and endorsement of Hill's products in dietary management. In addition, this position receives feedback from Hill's customers and communicates that feedback to the company. Those calls requiring diagnostic interpretation, or having more medical complexity, are staged and forwarded to a VCS Consulting Clinician.NOTE: This is a hybrid position, meaning that the selected candidate will attend to the Topeka, KS office 2-3 days a week and will work remotely the rest of the week. -What you will do:

• Responds to contacts from veterinary professionals and Hill's employees.
• Assesses the contact's needs to resolve first step in answering questions and call deposition. The VCS technician consults on product attributes and product indications. The VCS technician communicates the basic rationale and product selection and feeding techniques in non-complicated cases.
• Supports with interpretation of company policies and service procedures to professional and paraprofessional customers.
• Assists in follow-up to support and reinforces oral consultation.
• Assembles and distributes information relative to Hill's product changes, new products' attributes, and current marketing promotional information.
• Maintains their knowledge current to assure high standards for accurate and consistent responses to internal and external customers.
• Assists and interacts with other SI/VCS team members to meet or exceed established service level standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Align with all policies and standards -Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree Undergraduate degree lasting 2 to 3 years
  • Certified Veterinary Technician-NAVTA in
  • Proficient in typing to document calls
  • Proficient in Google Suites, MS Word and Excel
  • Strong relationship building and teamwork skills
  • Ability to sit and view a computer monitor for a continuous period of up to 2 hours
  • Perform elementary nutritional arithmetic such as calculations of water and energy requirements and food requirements based on dietary caloric density.
  • Excellent communication skills. Good writing skills. Proficient in medical terminology. -Preferred Qualifications:
    • At least 2 years of clinical experience with associate or bachelor degree. -Physical Demands:
