For more information about the Company, visit jmsmucker.com.General Functions:* Operate Lines 1,2,3, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 27 which includes but is not limited to: Ishida scales, 3M taper, Checkweigher, Video Jet, Solbern Filler, Krones Labeler, Holmatic Sealer, Dell Capper, Fuji shrink band applicator Combi Case erector Yamato Case Packer, Multi-Vac trayer, Roberts poucher Meypak tray packer, Zalkin Lid applicator New England descrambler label applicator Schneider case packer Tisma carton machine, Slidell bag hanger, Dyna-Pak case packer, Clybourn carton machine, Brenton case packer Ishida scales and conveying systems, storeveyor systems and other equipment safely and efficiently.* Team Members are also expected to work where needed on other Treats Packaging lines frequently.* Team Members may occasionally work in other areas of the Site, if needed.* Team Members are expected to help maintain and repair equipment in the area.* To provide a high quality finished goods unit.* To ensure that all SOP, QA, Safety and Sanitation Procedures are followed.Responsibilities:* Review, follow, and write Job Safety Analysis's and safe practices for the area.* Proper monitoring, documentation, and sample collection to meet all Quality Checks done in the area.* Mechanical Aptitude* Be able to make adjustments and repairs to machines to maintain operating efficiency.* Perform preventative maintenance in area. Shoveling and sweeping frequentlyLift / Pull: Changing film rolls, removing damage or jammed cartons, cases, or product from machinery. In order to lift and move cases of finished foods and packing materials.Push / Pull: Trash hoppers several times per shift. With legs: Very little and up to 50 times per shift. With Arms: Frequently 34% to 66% per shift. With body: Occasionally 1% to 33% per shift. Move pallets of corrugated or cartons with a manual or motorized pallet jack up to 15 times per shift or more. Repositioning equipment on the line for different products.Carry: Cases of packaging material (up to 25#s) constantly during shift 66% to 100% of the time. Climbing: Vertical Fixed Ladders, portable ladders frequently 34% to 66% of the time and stairwells occasionally 1% to 33% of the time to the storeveyor and scale area.Walking: Occasionally from 1% to 33% of the time.Bending: Frequently 34% to 66% during shift to observe line operation or to make repairsKneeling: Frequently 34% to 66% during shift to observe line operation or to make repairsSquatting: Frequently 34% to 66% during shift to observe line operation or to make repairsReaching Overhead: Occasionally 1% to 33% during shift to observe line operation or to make repairs and more frequently to clear jamsRepetitive Use of Hands: Frequent use of both hands 34% to 66% of the time.Grasping: Frequent use of both hands for simple to strong grasping 34% to 66% of the time.
