Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Specialty Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year in Medical Specialty Unit License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience in using rapid response and code teams - Competence in feeding tube care and management - Skill in managing central lines, PICC lines, and IV starts - Knowledge of heparin protocols and PCA administration - Understanding of isolation precautions and wound care Description: Registered Nurse needed for a medical specialty unit. The position requires 13 weeks of night shifts. Each shift is 12 hours long. Ratios will be 1:5 patients. Must have 1 year of experience in a medical specialty unit. Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed. Weekends will require 8 shifts in a 6-week schedule. First-timers in this specialty are accepted. Candidates must be open to completing required training modules before the start date. References from previous employment are required. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is essential. This position may involve caring for patients post-cath. Experience in managing patients with various conditions, including heart failure and sepsis, is preferred.
